Today, the Mayor of the Capital, Dr. Hammoud Abbad, and the Undersecretary of the Works and Projects Sector, Engineer Abdul Karim Al-Houthi, inspected the level of job discipline in the Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit in the secretariat on the first day of official working hours following the blessed Eid Al-Fitr holiday.
Today, the Mayor of the Capital, Dr. Hammoud Abbad, and the Undersecretary of the Works and Projects Sector, Engineer Abdul Karim Al-Houthi, inspected the level of job discipline in the Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit in the secretariat on the first day of official working hours following the blessed Eid Al-Fitr holiday.
Abbad and Al-Houthi, along with the Undersecretary of the Secretariat for Agricultural Affairs, Muhammad Saree, were briefed on the renovation and maintenance work carried out by the unit in the new building, and they listened to an explanation from the director of the unit, Engineer Abdul-Malik Al-Ansi, about the work plan and the level of implementation of agricultural and fishery projects in the secretariat.
They also inspected the progress of work and discipline in the executive unit for constructing, maintaining and rehabilitating roads and public places on the first day of official working hours following the Eid al-Fitr holiday, and heard from the director of the unit, Al-Ansi, an explanation about the projects and work it is implementing to rehabilitate and maintain the streets of the capital secretariat.
The Mayor of the Capital stressed the importance of discipline in official working hours, doubling efforts and avoiding negatives to develop and improve the services provided to citizens and complete all work.
He urged to raise the level of service performance and work with all dedication and sincerity to maintain and restore the streets of the capital secretariat in order to reduce the damage caused by torrents and rainwater on the road network and public and private property.
On the same level, the Chairman of the Planning and Financial Development Committee in the Capital Secretariat, Sharaf Al-Hadi, inspected the progress of discipline in the Al-Thawra Directorate’s Security Department on the first day of official working hours following the Eid Al-Fitr holiday, and heard from the Deputy Director of the Directorate’s Security Area, Colonel Hashem Al-Zein, an explanation about the level of security performance and job discipline in the various departments and sections of the Directorate.
In addition, the Undersecretary of the Capital Municipality for the Services Sector, Engineer Abdel Fattah Al-Sharafi, reviewed the job discipline in the local water and sanitation corporation in the municipality on the first day of official working hours following the blessed Eid Al-Fitr holiday.
Al-Sharafi heard from the director of the institution, Engineer Muhammad Madaes, his deputies and department directors, an explanation about the attendance rate on the first day, which amounted to 95 percent, as well as the level of performance and work carried out to provide services to citizens during the days of Eid, and the mobilization of all workers’ efforts to confront the flood, rain and sewage emergencies and the difficulties they faced.
The Undersecretary also inspected the level of job discipline in the Public Health and Trade and Industry offices of the Secretariat, and the attendance rate in official working hours.
He heard from those concerned an explanation about the nature of the tasks and services that were carried out during the Eid, and field visits to monitor prices, markets and stores and control rationing violations.
He praised the level of job commitment at the Water Corporation and the Health and Industry offices, noting the services and activities they carried out during the days of Eid al-Fitr, especially pumping water to various neighborhoods and neighborhoods of the capital and treating sewage overflow, as well as controlling prices and providing health services to citizens.
The Secretariat’s Assistant Undersecretaries for the Administrative Units Sector, Sami Sharaf al-Din and Abdullah Muharram, also inspected the level of job discipline in the Tahrir and Ma’in districts and their executive offices following the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
In addition, the Assistant Undersecretary of the Secretariat, Ahsan Qazi, and the Director of Associations, Nabil Rajeh, were briefed on the level of job discipline in the Oil Company branch of the Secretariat, and they listened to an explanation from the deputy director of the branch about the level of performance and the attendance rate, which reached 95 percent on the first day of official work.
